Vollat Consumer Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 October 2026. These terms govern the consumer app Vollat and replace Vollat's previous reliance on Q72's professional B2B terms.
1. Provider and scope
The provider of Vollat and your contractual counterparty is:
Denise Wollin, trading as Q72 Capital
Schloßstraße 110
70176 Stuttgart, Germany
Email: hello@vollat.app
Vollat is a consumer software product operated by Q72 Capital. These Terms apply to consumers using free or paid Vollat services.
2. Service
Vollat lets users select assets, amounts and preferences and generates a model-based allocation, metrics and explanations while allowing users to set portfolio rules and compare their effects. Portfolio tools including portfolio creation, Add Money, rebalancing, re-optimisation, basic min/max weights and portfolio history remain free. vollat Pro adds a technical workspace with advanced constraints supported by the Q72 Developer API.
Trading or execution of securities purchases or sales is not currently part of Vollat.
3. No execution or custody
Vollat does not open brokerage accounts, execute purchases or sales, hold money or financial instruments, or accept capital for investment. Founding Backer payments are voluntary payments to the provider and are expressly not investment capital.
Outputs depend on mathematical models, historical market data and user inputs and do not guarantee future returns. Investments can fall in value and losses, including total loss of individual assets, are possible.
Vollat is designed to present choices transparently rather than make a personal investment decision for the user. Mandatory legal classifications and rights remain unaffected.
4. Account and registration
Some features require an account. Users must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and notify Vollat if unauthorised access is suspected.
Paid services may only be purchased by persons capable of entering into a valid contract; minors require any legally necessary parental or guardian consent.
5. Free use
The free feature set is described in the app. Where no paid contract exists, Vollat may reasonably change or discontinue free functionality for the future. Statutory rights already accrued remain unaffected.
6. Founding Backer and payments
Vollat's portfolio features are currently free to use.
Users may voluntarily support Vollat as a “Founding Backer” with a self-selected one-time amount. The payment does not unlock portfolio functionality and is not equity in Vollat or Q72 Capital, a loan, a security or an investment. It creates no entitlement to financial return, repayment or economic participation. A Founding Backer badge may be displayed in the user's account as recognition; Founding Backers may also receive priority access to new releases and the trading beta.
The amount shown before confirmation is the total amount selected by the user. This does not affect the provider's tax treatment or statutory remittance obligations.
7. Contract formation and payment
For a Founding Backer payment, the user chooses the amount and is redirected to Stripe for payment processing. The payment becomes effective once the payment process is successfully completed.
Stripe or the payment provider shown at checkout processes payment. Vollat generally does not receive full payment-card details.
vollat Pro – optional monthly subscription
Pro supplement dated 9 October 2026.
vollat Pro costs €6.90 total per month and adds to the existing Free features. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the Pro dashboard or cancellation section for the end of the paid period. Pro remains available until then; afterwards your account, Free access and saved portfolios remain.
Current early-access limits are 5 portfolios and 25 engine runs in total per account. Pro does not include unlimited runs. Supported constraints and these limits are disclosed on the Pro page before purchase. Activation follows successful payment. Immediate service start is expressly requested; statutory withdrawal rights remain.
8. No recurring commitment
The Founding Backer contribution is a voluntary one-time payment, not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal or recurring charge.
9. Right of withdrawal
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Details, deadlines, effects and the model form are set out in the Withdrawal Instructions.
If a user expressly asks Vollat to begin a digital service during the withdrawal period, statutory rules on proportionate compensation may apply. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal right may expire early only where the statutory requirements for express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation are met.
10. Digital service, conformity and updates
Statutory rights for digital products apply to paid digital services. Vollat will provide the agreed functionality during the contractual term and required security or functional updates to the extent required by law.
A current mainstream web browser, internet access and JavaScript are required. Mobile functionality may depend on operating system, browser and screen size.
11. User responsibilities
Users must not misuse Vollat, interfere with infrastructure, bypass technical safeguards, attempt unauthorised access or systematically scrape the service. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their inputs and for deciding whether any displayed allocation is appropriate for their circumstances and risk tolerance.
12. Intellectual property
Vollat and Q72 software, design, text, models, brands and other content are protected. During the contract, users receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the app personally within the agreed scope.
13. Availability and changes
Vollat aims for high availability but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security work, infrastructure outages, market-data issues and events beyond reasonable control may cause temporary limitations.
Material changes to paid services during an ongoing contract will only be made where permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights concerning changes to digital products remain unaffected.
14. Liability
Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and where mandatory law requires. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to typical foreseeable loss. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer and digital-product rights remain unaffected.
15. Privacy
How Vollat processes personal data is explained in the Vollat Privacy Policy.
16. Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which a consumer habitually resides remain unaffected. Statutory consumer jurisdictions apply.
17. Consumer dispute resolution
Vollat is currently neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform has been discontinued and is therefore not linked.
18. Final provisions and contact
If a provision is invalid, statutory law applies in its place and the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
